Ministries
Children's Ministry
Kid's Club
Meeting Time: Third Saturdays 1-3pm
Kid’s Club is a time of fun and learning for children from the age of 4 – 12. We have different themes each month that provides the children with a Bible Point. We have songs, games, activities, crafts, and even a snack that ties in with the day’s theme. We welcome all children to come and join us on the third Saturday of the month from 1:00 – 3:00 pm.
Puppet Ministry
We have a puppet skit during morning worship geared to the children. This year we are covering the topic of "The Fruits of the Spirit." This is done by our Puppeteer, Paul Reed and Janet Crossman. This happens on the second Sunday of the month
Sunday School
On Sundays during the worship service the children will have an object lesson before going downstairs for a lesson and activity. This is for young
children through sixth grade.
Men Under Construction (Men's Fellowship)
Meeting Time: Monday's at 7pm
This is a Men’s Bible Study group. They meet on Mondays at 7:00 am here at the church where they disciple each other on how to be men whose lives pleases the Lord.
Women's Ministry
Treasure Seekers
Meeting Time: Second Tuesday of the month at 7pm
Treasure Seekers is a women’s group that meets monthly, except for the summer. This group oversees the monthly missions that we collect offerings for each month. We also do collect Samaritan Purse boxes, Church World Service Kits, Needs Shower for the Women’s Center, and help the local Young Life with a tag sale in the spring. This group runs the annual Christmas Bazaar in December. We also have a Tea and Cookie Exchange in December. We meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm.
Wild Women Wednesday
This is a chance for the women of the church and the community to come together and fellowship over a meal and share with each other. We sometimes have fun activities. We have had scavenger hunt, Jeopardy/Bible Trivia and other similar types of events. This is currently on break.
Bible Study and Prayer
Monday Evening Bible Study
This study group is especially for those who are new to studying the Bible. Our studies have ranged from a book of the Bible to the Holy Spirit and prayer. We are currently starting our “Experiencing God” study. We meet on Monday evenings at 6:30 pm at the church. This group is open to both men and women. If you have questions, you should reach out to Janet.
Tuesday Afternoon Bible Study
This study group is just starting back up and moving from morning to afternoons. We will be meeting at 2:30 pm at Flora’s home. This group will be starting a study of “Experiencing God”. If you have questions, you should reach out to Janet.
Prayer Ministry
We have set fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm for Corporate/Church wide prayer. We all come together in the sanctuary to pray for one hour. There are topics chosen in advance for prayer.
